Configuring phone for call pickup

To use server assisted call pickup, configuration can be done using web interface of the phone or in the XML configurationfile. Call pickup can be done using memory keys as well.

Configuration Using Web Interface

The image below shows a snapshot of the Advanced tab of your phone's in-built website. The Server Assisted Call-Pickup checkbox has to be checked and the appropriate prefix should be entered in Call-Pickup Prefix textbox.

Configuration Using XML auto-configuration file

In the XML configuration file, do the following configuration in the sipaccounts tag for each account.

<configuration>

.

<sipAccounts>

.

    <account_L1>

.

       <serverAssistCallPickup>TRUE</serverAssistCallPickup>

       <callPickupPrefix>*78</callPickupPrefix>

.

    <account_L1>

.

</sipAccounts>

.

</configuration>

One-touch Call Pickup Using Memory Keys

If you happen to have stored the number of the ringing phone on one of the sixteen memory keys, and that memory key is blinking red, a "one-touch" call pickup is possible by simply pressing that memory key.
