Call Features
Making Calls
Pick up the handset or press SPEAKER or HEADSET then do one of the following.
- Press RDIAL softkey to get the list of last 15 dialed numbers. Now use the UP/DOWN
scroll keys to select the number to be dialed and then press the DIAL softkey to dial the number.
- Press BOOK softkey and then use UP/ DOWN scroll keys to select the number to be dialed from the book. Now press the DIAL softkey to dial this number.
- Enter a number you wish to dial and press DIAL softkey.
Without pressing SPEAKER or HEADSET buttons and without picking up the receiver do one of the following.
- Press RDIAL softkey. It displays the list of last 15 dialed numbers. Use UP/DOWN scroll keys to select one of the numbers and then press any Line button(which is registered) or press the SPEAKER/HEADSET button or pick up the handset receiver to dial the selected number.
- Press BOOK softkey to display the numbers stored in the book. Use UP/DOWN scroll keys to select one of the numbers and then press any Line button(which is registered) or press the SPEAKER/HEADSET button or pick up the handset receiver to dial the selected number.
- Press MENU/BACK softkey followed by LOGS softkey. Go to any of the lists IN, OUT or MISS. Use UP/DOWN scroll keys to select one of the numbers and then press any Line button(which is registered) or press the SPEAKER/HEADSET button or pick up the handset receiver to dial the selected number.
- Enter the number manually(when the phone is in standby mode) and press SPEAKER or HEADSET or pick up the handset receiver. The number that was entered gets dialed automatically.
- When the phone is not registered then you can also dial a URI. To do this, press the URI softkey and enter a SIP URI. Press the DIAL softkey to dial this URI.
When there is DIAL PLAN configured for a particular line then the call is automatically placed when the specified number of digits has been entered.
NOTE: Dial plan does not works when number is dialed in onhook state. i.e. without picking up the handset or pressing SPEAKER or HEADSET buttons
Without picking the handset or pressing the SPEAKER or HEADSET key, the procedure is as follows:

Answering Calls
- Pick up the handset or press SPEAKER/HEADSET.
- You can also press the Line button of the line on which the call has come to accept the calls on that line. The line button of the line on which the call has come starts blinking red whenever there is an incoming call.
- To answer another incoming call when one call is already running, press FLASH key.
- Intercom calls need not be answered. They are picked up automatically and intercom key glows red. The voice from caller can be heard but callee cannot reach the caller.

Hanging Up
- In speaker-phone mode, press SPEAKER/HEADSET; otherwise, place the handset back in the cradle.
- Press the Line button of the line on which you want to disconnect the call.
- Press HNGUP soft key to disconnect the currently running call.
- An intercom call ends automatically after 15 seconds, except when the callee has made it a simple call.

Placing Calls on Hold
To hold the call:
- Press the HOLD button to hold the active call. Which starts blinking red and indicates that the call is put on hold.
- Press the FLASH key to make some other call when there is already an ongoing call
- Press FLASH to pick the incoming waiting call when there is already an ongoing call
To retrieve the call on hold:
In order to retrieve the call on hold press the HOLD key again if the call was put on hold by pressing the HOLD key. If the call was put on hold by pressing the FLASH then press the FLASH key again in order to retrieve the call
Activating Mute
Press the MUTE button. The mute button starts glowing red indicating that the phones outgoing audio is off. This Mute function is common for both line, so, once pressed your voice would not go from both lines.
Press the MUTE button again to unmute your phone.
Caller Id
The ID of the other party is automatically displayed on your telephone's LCD.
Call Waiting
When there are one or more calls running on your phone, then an incoming call is indicated by a short beep in regular intervals. ID of the caller is displayed for 2 seconds on the screen. For this time the details of the current call are hidden. Also the line button of the line on which the incoming call is ringing starts to blink.
* When there are 2 calls already running on a single line then if there is an incoming call, it goes to voicemail and no call waiting happens since a maximum of two calls per line are allowed.
Do Not Disturb
When you do not want to receive any calls then enable DO NOT DISTURB feature of your telephone. To do this, press DND softkey which comes on your phone when it is idle. The LCD displays DND (when the phone is registered) and DO NOT DISTURB (when it is unregistered) to indicate that the DND is activated. Now whosoever calls you will get busy signal automatically. To disable DND and start receiving calls again, press DND softkey once more.
Call Return
Pick up the handset (or press SPEAKER/HEADSET) and dial *69 to automatically call the last caller.
Per Call Blocking
Pick up the handset (or press SPEAKER/HEADSET), dial *67 to block your Caller ID. Now for the next call that you make your caller ID will be blocked.
Autodial
From the inbuilt website of your phone enter the number which you wish to dial automatically when you pick up the receiver, press the Line key or press the SPEAKER or HEADSET button. Also check the ENABLE AUTO DIAL USER ID check box. Now whenever your phone goes off hook this number will automatically get dialed.
Call Transfer
- BLIND TRANSFER:- While you are in a call, press XFR softkey, dial the other party, and hang up. You may use a memory key to transfer the call to the number configured in the memory key; for this first press the XFR softkey and then press the memory key.
- CONSULTATIVE TRANSFER:- When there is a call active press FLASH softkey and then call another party. Talk to the other party, then press XFR to connect the two parties together.
- CONFERENCING TRANSFER:- While there is single call active on a line, press FLASH softkey and then make another call. Now when two ongoing calls are there, press CONF softkey. All the three phones now come into a conference and can communicate with each other at the same time. Now press XFR or HNGUP softkey to come out of the conference and transfer the call from the first party to the second party.
For conferencing transfer there should not be a conference server configured on your phone.

Conference
Conference can be done in one of two ways:
- Three-way conferencing natively on the phone: When you are in a call, press FLASH softkey and make another call. Now you have 2 ongoing calls on the same line. Press CONF softkey. This brings all three phones into conference.
- N-way Conferencing using a conference server: If you have a conference server configured on your phone, pressing the CONF softkey uses the services of the conference server. If you are in one active call and press CONF key, the active call will be transferred to the server, and you may dial another party if you wish to bring the other party into the conference.
Intercom
To make an intercom call, select the line from which you want to call and then press the Intercom button, and dial the number that you want to call. The call automatically gets picked up at the other end. Intercom invocation has three methods:
Call-Info
Alert-Info with an optional Alert-Info Secret.
Prefix If using prefix then the prefix is attached to the outgoing intercom call. The server determines what method is to be used by interpreting the prefix.
Voicemail
Each LINE may have a different voicemail access number, and a different MWI_URI may be configured for each LINE.
If a caller leaves a voicemail the red light at the top of your phone starts blinking. This indicates that you have new messages lying in your voicemail. To retrieve a voicemail you have to pick up the receiver or press HEADSET or SPEAKER button and then press VM softkey. Another way is to dial *99.
*If you do not want the LED for the voicemail to blink, then you should uncheck the `MWI SUBSCRIBE` check box. With this you will receive messages in your voicemail but you will not receive any indications for it.
Instant Messages
Press MENU/BACK button and then press the IM softkey. Information about the IMs appears on the screen. Now you can read and write messages using the READ and WRITE softkeys that appear. Also you can configure if you want your phone to give a beep whenever an IM comes.

Call Park/Retreive
You may park your call at at a call-park server and retrieve it again from some other place. To do this follow the steps explained below:-
PARKING CALL:While in a call, press PARK softkey. This places the other phone on hold. Now enter a number out of the ones that are available at the server for parking a call.
RETREIVING CALL: A user at some other phone may pick up a parked call by going off-hook, pressing the right arrow key, the PRTRV key, and then a park orbit number.

Call Forwarding
Call forwarding can be done in three ways:
- FORWARD ON BUSY (CFB):- Calls will get forwarded only when there are two calls running on the Line on which forward has been set.
- FORWARD UNCONDITIONALLY (CFU):- All calls will get forwarded no matter what the state of the phone is, but phone should be switched on.
- FORWARD WHEN NO ANSWER (CFNA):- In this mode you can set forward when the incoming call keeps ringing for a specified amount of time. This time could be set to 20, 40 or 60 seconds.
To set forward, press MENU/BACK button on your phone and then press SETUP softkey. Press FORWD and then select the Line on which forward has to be set. Then enter the number to which you want your calls to get forwarded to and then press SAVE. Now your are prompted to select one out of three ways specified above.

Call Pickup
You may pick up on your phone an incoming ringing call on some other phone in either of two ways:
- Go off-hook, press the right arrow key, press PKUP key, and then enter the number of the phone which has a ringing call on it. Press DIAL softkey.
- If you happen to have stored the number of the ringing phone on one of the sixteen memory keys, and that memory key is blinking red, a "one-touch" call pickup is possible by simply pressing that memory key.
